This is one of the ways we show our commitment to the environment in real terms.
Ecopack and ecological commitment since 1939
We began our story in Turin in 1939, as a company specialising in the production of moulds for the confectionery industry, which then broadened its horizons towards the savoury world.
Over the years, Ecopack has developed its range to include over 800 products, and has done so with a special focus on the environment and ecology.
The company’s top priority, in addition to offering its customers articles of the highest quality and with excellent technical performance, is to create its moulds using increasingly eco-sustainable materials.
Examples of this are the new Cocoa Paper range, made with cocoa processing waste, and the Delivery range, which aims to replace disposable plastic non-recyclable plastic take-away trays with containers made of paper and bamboo, which are much more sustainable materials.
What is the FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano
The FAI was established in 1975 with the aim of defending Italy’s historical, artistic and landscape heritage.
Every day, it renews its commitment to defend Italy’s cultural, artistic and natural heritage, making the extraordinary riches of the countryside, cities and coastline accessible to everyone.
The FAI project, divided into eight areas of intervention (places, territory, relations, people, education and protection, zero impact, sustainability, civic commitment), is also geared towards educating and raising the community’s awareness of the need to respect nature and art, with active interventions throughout the territory, acting as a spokesperson for civil society.
The Corporate Golden Donor membership programme
Ecopack is a Corporate Golden Donor. We see collaborating with FAI as a step forward in the great project to protect the territory: we want to make Italy a better place to live, work and raise our children.
The first resource on which to focus for the rebirth and development of our country is its immense landscape and cultural heritage, which is of undeniable value and beauty.
With the support of numerous members, who now include Ecopack, the FAI protects 66 assets across the national territory, saving jewels of history, art and landscape from neglect and opening them to the public.
